Ciara Announces Fifth Pregnancy With Russell Wilson as Couple Prepares to Welcome Another Child
Ciara and Russell Wilson are expecting another baby. The singer announced on September 6 that she is pregnant with her fifth child, marking her fourth child with Wilson and expanding their blended family to five children.
Ciara, 40, shared the news with a series of photos and videos on Instagram showing her growing baby bump. The couple captioned the announcement, ‘One more person to Love 🖐🏽🥺🖤.’
Pregnancy Reveal
The announcement showed Ciara and Wilson outdoors beside a clothesline displaying shirts representing the children already in their family. Four shirts carried the names Future, Sienna, Win and Amora, while a blank baby onesie represented the child on the way.
Ciara and Wilson also posed together holding up five fingers, a reference to baby No. 5. The couple has not announced the baby’s due date, sex or name.
Ciara and Wilson’s Growing Family
Ciara is already the mother of Future Zahir, her 12-year-old son with rapper Future. She and Wilson are parents to Sienna Princess, 9, Win Harrison, 6, and Amora Princess, whom they welcomed in December 2023.
Ciara and Wilson married in July 2016 and celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary earlier this year. Their latest pregnancy announcement comes after months of public comments from Wilson about wanting to expand their family.
Wilson Had Already Asked for Baby No. 5
In July, Ciara told Us Weekly that Wilson had started talking about another baby shortly after Amora’s birth. ‘My husband’s been the one doing that. He’s the one to pick this thing off,’ she said.
Ciara recalled that Wilson asked about another child while she was giving birth to Amora. ‘I will tell you, when I was giving birth to Amora, that was our fourth baby, he was like shortly after, ‘So cinco?’ and I’m like, ‘Wait a minute now, like slow it down, sir. We just had a baby here. Let’s be in this moment here, sir.’’
Ciara also said she was open to having another child. ‘I love being a mom. It’s my favorite job of all, and I couldn’t stand here and tell you that I don’t see that happening one day in our lives to have cinco because why not?’
Wilson Publicly Wanted a Fifth Child
Wilson also spoke about the possibility during an interview with E! News at Fanatics Fest in New York City on July 17. ‘We have four amazing kids and I’m trying to convince Ciara to have a fifth,’ he said. ‘Cinco, you got to be on the way soon.’
Wilson added, ‘I want to have five, Ciara does too. We’ll see. Hopefully, I can convince her.’ The comments came less than two months before the couple confirmed that another baby was on the way.
A New Chapter for Wilson
The pregnancy announcement comes during a period of change for Wilson. In June, he announced his retirement from the NFL after a 14-season career and said he would begin a new chapter as an analyst with CBS Sports on The NFL Today.
Wilson has also spoken about his role in raising Future Zahir. In February, he described becoming a stepfather to Ciara’s eldest son as an important responsibility in his life, saying, ‘Stepping in to raise a child with [Ciara] and realizing that, ‘OK, God, I know she’s the one for me.’ But also too, I’m gonna take this responsibility as well. And I was ready for that … What a gift.’
Baby No. 5 on the Way
The couple’s announcement was followed by congratulatory messages from friends and fans. La La Anthony commented, ‘Another beautiful blessing!!! More to love!!!’ and added, ‘Making space over at Auntie La’s house, love my family. I’m just over here cheesing so hard.’
As of September 7, 2026, Ciara and Russell Wilson have not revealed the baby’s due date, sex or name. The pregnancy marks their fourth child together and Ciara’s fifth child overall.
