Udne Ki Aasha 31 August 2026 Written Update: Sayali Takes Roshni’s Place in Laksh’s Shoot
Udne Ki Aasha on 31 August 2026 brings a major change in Laksh’s photoshoot as Sayali gets the opportunity to play his mother after Roshni fails to impress the director. Meanwhile, Sayali and Pankhudi prepare to leave the Deshmukh house, but Laksh secretly decides to follow them.
The episode begins with Roshni at the shooting location, where she is trying to perform as Laksh’s mother. However, she struggles to bring the required emotions into the scenes and repeatedly overdoes her expressions.
The director becomes unhappy with Roshni’s performance. He feels that the scenes are not looking natural and eventually decides to cancel the project.
Sayali Gets the Role
Sachin arrives at the location with Sayali, and they apologize to the director for being late. The director notices Sayali and believes that she could be a better fit for the role of Laksh’s mother.
He gives Sayali a chance to perform the scene. Roshni is left upset as Sayali takes the place she had wanted for herself.
The director asks Sayali to imagine Laksh as her own son. Sayali follows his instructions and performs the scene with natural affection.
During the shoot, she is also asked to show affection towards Laksh as part of the sequence. Her performance receives appreciation from the people present, while Sachin is happy to see her connect naturally with Laksh.

Tejas becomes strict with her and asks her to concentrate on her lessons. His approach eventually works, and Kanika starts paying more attention to her studies.
Devika is pleased to see the change in Kanika. Later, when Kanika and Devika serve food to Tejas, Devika starts thinking about the possibility of Tejas and Kanika becoming a pair.
Sayali and Pankhudi Leave
Sayali and Pankhudi eventually prepare to leave the Deshmukh house. Paresh and Renuka bid them farewell, while Laksh finds it difficult to accept their departure.
