Anupama Rejects Shah Family Support as Paritosh Faces Questions Over Mantu
Anupama faces a major family conflict in the September 8, 2026 episode as Hasmuk tries to support her dream of building a new house by mortgaging the Shah family home. Anupama refuses the financial help after Leela objects and decides to arrange the money herself.
Leela becomes upset after learning about Hasmuk’s decision. She points out that the house belongs to both of them and questions how he could put their property at risk without discussing it with her.
Hasmuk explains that he does not intend to sell the house. His plan is to mortgage it so Anupama can receive the money needed for her new home, but Leela remains concerned about the possibility of being unable to repay the loan.
Anupama understands the seriousness of the dispute and makes it clear that she does not want her dream to come at the cost of Leela’s security. She therefore refuses Hasmuk’s financial support.
Anupama tears up the mortgage papers and decides to build the house through her own efforts. She asks Hasmuk for his blessings rather than his money, leaving him emotional over her decision.
Pakhi and Paritosh then use Leela’s anger to push their own concerns. They remind her that Hasmuk had considered mortgaging the property and suggest that the house should instead be secured by putting it in Leela’s name or in their names.
Meanwhile, Banku meets Anupama and encourages her while she worries about arranging the funds for her house. A manager also contacts Anupama and asks her to arrange the required money, leaving her determined to find another way to finance the project.
Rahi and Prem focus on improving Anuj’s cafe. Rahi proposes a collaboration with a major brand to increase the cafe’s business, while Prem agrees to work on the menu and leaves the other arrangements to Rahi.
Gautam notices Rahi’s involvement and uses it to provoke Vasundhara. Vasundhara becomes angry over Rahi taking a larger role at the cafe, creating another point of tension within the family.
A separate development begins when Mantu visits Anupama. She remembers the goodies that Paritosh had previously associated with Mantu, but Mantu reveals that he actually works in the sari business with his father and does not make snacks.
Mantu’s statement makes Anupama suspicious because it conflicts with what Paritosh had told her about the goodies. She begins questioning Paritosh’s role and the actual source of the food.
The precap takes the matter further when Anupama confronts Paritosh about Mantu’s visit and the goodies. Paritosh reveals Gautam’s involvement, after which Anupama decides to take the matter to the police station.
By the latest episode, Anupama has rejected the Shah family’s financial assistance for her house and remains determined to achieve the goal on her own. At the same time, the questions surrounding Mantu, Paritosh and Gautam set up the next confrontation.
