Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5 September 2026 Written Update: Myra Faces Armaan’s Anger as Abhira Learns About Kabir

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5 September 2026 episode brings a major conflict between Armaan and Myra after he learns that she helped Nandani win the competition. At the same time, Myra’s growing feelings for Kabir become clearer, while Abhira tries to understand her daughter instead of judging her.

Raghav and Nandani begin the episode by performing the Maha Aarti. Abhira and Armaan watch as the Poddars and Damanis take part in the prayers, while Abhira feels guilty that the family could not perform the Aarti as planned because of what happened during the competition.

Armaan, however, thanks God for everything they have. He looks at Myra and wishes that his daughter does not grow up too quickly. Myra also prays and asks God to keep her parents safe.

Myra Helps Nandani

Nandani later thanks Myra for giving her the rose water during the competition. Myra’s help allowed Nandani to continue despite the burning sensation in her eyes and eventually win the competition.

Kabir also learns about Myra’s decision. He tells her that she is not as bad as people think and jokingly suggests that she may soon have a good boyfriend. Myra blushes at the remark, making her feelings for Kabir harder to hide.

Meanwhile, Myra speaks to Mukti about Kabir. She admits that he is not as irritating as she once believed. Her conversation makes it clear that she has started looking at Kabir differently.

Armaan Confronts Myra

Back at the Poddar house, Myra asks Abhira whether her eyes are still hurting and offers to get rose water for her. Armaan stops her and tells her to bring it only for Abhira.

Armaan then reveals that Myra had helped Nandani even though she knew that the family needed to win the competition for the Maha Aarti. Abhira is shocked and struggles to believe that Myra intentionally wanted to hurt them.

Myra asks everyone to hear her side before judging her, but Armaan remains upset. He tells Myra that he is ashamed of her, leaving her deeply hurt.

Nandani continues to praise Myra for helping her. Bhairavi also asks for the Krishna idol to be returned to the Poddars, while Kabir decides to meet Myra and tell her that people are appreciating what she did.

Myra Breaks Down

Myra locks herself away and cries. When Abhira finds her, Myra says that she is a bad person and asks Abhira to stop being kind to her.

Abhira refuses to abandon her. She tells Myra that she should speak to Armaan instead of avoiding him and explain why she helped Nandani.

Armaan later practises boxing with Krish, but he remains distracted by the family conflict. Myra approaches him because she wants to talk, but Armaan ignores her.

Myra asks Krish why Armaan is angry with her and again tries to speak to her father. Armaan refuses to engage with her, increasing the tension inside the family.

The situation also affects the family outing that had been planned. Armaan refuses to join, while Manisha complains that his mood is affecting everyone. Kaveri also wonders how the family can resolve the situation.

Kabir Cooks for Myra

While the Poddars deal with the disagreement, Kabir quietly makes an effort for Myra. He tells Raghav that his friend is unwell and that he cannot come to the office, but instead he stays back to cook for Myra.

When his friend asks about Myra, Kabir insists that she is only his friend and that there is nothing more between them. His actions, however, show that his bond with Myra is becoming stronger.

Abhira Supports Myra

Abhira eventually speaks to Armaan about the way he is treating Myra. She reminds him that Myra has always helped other people and that he was proud of her whenever teachers praised her for doing so.

Abhira tells Armaan that helping Nandani does not automatically make Myra a bad person. She asks him to understand why Myra made the decision instead of continuing to punish her.

Armaan is forced to consider Abhira’s point of view and the effect his anger is having on Myra.

Myra Accidentally Reveals Kabir’s Name

The upcoming track takes the Myra-Kabir secret closer to being exposed. Abhira decides to find out who the mysterious friend in Myra’s life is and uses a game to make her reveal the name.

Myra answers without thinking and takes Kabir’s name. Abhira is stunned by the revelation, setting up a new confrontation over Myra’s growing connection with Kabir.

The 5 September episode therefore leaves the Poddar family dealing with Armaan and Myra’s emotional conflict, while Abhira is now aware that Kabir may be the person Myra has been secretly talking about.
