Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai takes a major turn as Tanya decides to marry Samar despite concerns from Abhira and Armaan, while Maira’s growing feelings for Kabir begin to affect her decisions. The 10 September 2026 episode also reveals why Samar wants to marry Tanya and ends with Maira missing her entrance examination after meeting Kabir.
The episode begins with Kabir wondering what he will say if Maira calls him. Maira asks for his number for her DP, but Kabir says that he does not know it himself. She then asks him to click her pictures, and Kabir agrees.
Maira becomes nervous while talking to Kabir and struggles to express herself. She later thinks about taking a solo holiday in the hope of impressing him, showing that her feelings for him are becoming harder to ignore.
Tanya and Samar’s marriage creates tension
At the Poddar house, Manisha tells Abhira that Kajal has remained quiet since returning from the restaurant. Abhira asks Krish to speak to her, while Krish suggests that Kajal accompany him to Dubai to meet Aryan and Disha.
Manisha also questions Manoj about receiving her ring late. Manoj explains that the jewellers were busy preparing a ring for Samar Damani’s engagement and reveals that Samar is planning to marry for the second time.
Abhira soon realises that Tanya and Samar are planning to get married. Armaan also notices Tanya and Samar and tries to alert Abhira before she speaks to Tanya directly about the marriage.
