The episode began with Tulsi losing her balance, but Nandini caught her in time and asked if she was alright. Tulsi assured her that she was fine and walked away. Karan was unhappy to see Nandini talking to Tulsi, but before he could say much, Samaira interrupted them. Samaira tried to speak to Karan about Sid, but Karan received an important phone call and firmly told the person on the other end that their association with Dasgupta was strictly professional and should never become personal. Samaira lost the courage to discuss Sid after hearing this.
Karan then revealed that he had fixed Samaira marriage alliance with the son of his college friend, leaving her worried. Meanwhile, Tulsi found a thumbprint that she believed could belong to Mihir. Karan employee informed him that Tulsi had visited the office to ask about a letter and that he repeated exactly what Karan had instructed him to say. Karan warned the employee never to mention Mihir again and assured him that Mihir was safe.
At the dining table, the family complained that Vaishnavi had started controlling the household after receiving the house keys. Gautam asked everyone to maintain respect while speaking, and Niyati also questioned Vaishnavi behaviour. Vaishnavi calmly explained that she had no problem if the family ordered food from outside, but they should inform her in advance so food was not wasted. Samaira sarcastically asked if Karan and Nandini would also have to answer to Vaishnavi. Vaishnavi replied that everyone would have to follow the same rules if necessary. Karan got upset, but Tulsi supported Vaishnavi, saying she was only carrying out her instructions.
Raunak misbehaved with Tulsi, but when she complained to Karan, Nandini diffused the situation. Niyati questioned Tulsi decision to hand over the house keys to the younger daughter-in-law instead of the elder one, but Tulsi reminded everyone that the arrangement was made with the family consent. Tulsi then talked about her visit to the orphanage and asked Karan if he made a donation there in Mihir name. Karan denied it and told her not to bring up Parth name. Nandini stood by Tulsi, who hinted that she wanted to discover who had been making donations in Mihir name.
Tulsi further announced that everyone, including herself, must follow the house rules, submit their expense details to Vaishnavi, and avoid wasting food.
Elsewhere, Sid was upset because Samaira had not spoken to her parents about their relationship. Samaira explained her family complicated situation. Raunak overheard their conversation and left in anger. Tripti was delighted when Sid promised that no one would separate him and Samaira. Later, Raunak informed Karan that he saw Samaira talking to a boy. Shocked, Karan suspected that something was being hidden from him.
