Anupamaa 2 September 2026 Written Update: Shruti Hands Over Anuj’s Café to Rahi and Prem

The 2 September 2026 episode of Anupamaa brings an emotional farewell for Shruti as she prepares to leave India and makes peace with Anupama and Rahi. She also hands over Anuj’s café to Rahi and Prem, while Anupama faces continued pressure from Paritosh over her prize money and takes another step towards buying her dream home.

The episode begins with Anupama praying for Shruti. She wishes that Shruti finds happiness wherever she goes and receives everything she deserves in life.

Shruti tells Anupama that she is confident that Anupama will continue to give Rahi plenty of love. Pakhi takes a dig at the situation, while Paritosh criticises Anupama for failing to maintain relationships.

Kinjal defends Anupama and tells Ishani that Anupama understands relationships well. According to Kinjal, this is why people cannot remain angry with Anupama for long.

Shruti Changes Her View

Shruti then speaks about her conversation with Anupama. She explains that Anupama was never insecure about her relationship with Rahi.

Shruti says Anupama was confident that Rahi would continue to be her daughter despite Shruti being part of her life. Rahi then tells Shruti that she also considers her a daughter.

Shruti reveals that Anupama had told her the same thing during their conversation. She admits that she had initially approached Anupama only to express her anger and frustration, but the discussion made her understand several things about herself.

Shruti also asks Prem to forgive Anupama because Anupama is looking for him. Her change in attitude helps bring some closure to the conflict that developed around the cooking competition.

Shruti Hands Over Anuj’s Café

Shruti makes another major decision before leaving. She hands over Anuj’s café to Rahi and Prem and asks them to take responsibility for it.

Shruti accepts that she has made mistakes in the past. Khyati also realises that she had behaved harshly towards Shruti and begins to understand her situation.

Vasundhara appreciates Shruti for standing by Prem when he was going through a difficult phase. She tells Shruti that the family will remember her support and asks her to call or visit whenever she misses them.

Anil asks Shruti to tie a Rakhi to him so that she will always have a reason to return and visit the family. The Kothari family then comes together for a photograph before Shruti leaves.

Paritosh Demands His Share

At the same time, Anupama receives a call informing her that the organisers want the family to visit the bank for the transfer of the prize money.

Anupama tells Digvijay that Vasundhara’s down payment has been returned and that she now needs to arrange the payment for her plot. Digvijay agrees to accompany her to the builder.

Paritosh calculates how much money Anupama will have after distributing the prize money. He says she will be left with around Rs 8 lakh and argues that she should not be allowed to keep the money for starting a new life with her partner.

Paritosh further argues that since Digvijay is giving up his share, that amount should also be divided among the family members.

Anupama loses patience with him and warns him to stop talking. She tells him that otherwise she will slap him so hard that he will not be able to hear anything else.

Bhavesh Arrives for Rakshabandhan

Meanwhile, Rakshabandhan preparations continue at the Shah house. Anupama ties a Rakhi to Lord Krishna and prays for her family.

Ishani waits for Ansh, while Leela tries to comfort her. She tells Ishani that if Ansh cannot come, she can tie a Rakhi to him through a video call.

Bhavesh then makes a surprise appearance. Anupama becomes emotional when she sees her brother, and Bhavesh meets Digvijay and thanks him for supporting Anupama.

Pakhi wonders when Bhavesh and Digvijay became so close. Paritosh reminds her of Digvijay’s earlier wish to become Bhavesh’s brother-in-law, leading to more teasing within the family.

Bhavesh Supports Anupama’s Dream

Hasmuk asks Bhavesh to join the family. Leela notices that he looks weak and asks him to eat something. Bhavesh says that he has missed the food prepared by Leela.

Bhavesh notices Anupama’s trophy and says that it deserves a special place in the house. When Paritosh suggests that Anupama will simply make another cupboard for her trophies, Bhavesh says she will eventually have her own house where she can keep them.

Hasmuk blesses Anupama and says that she will win many more trophies. His words make Anupama emotional because she remembers that she could not build a house for her parents.

Anupama asks Bhavesh to live with her when she builds her new home. Bhavesh assures her that he will stay with her.

Ansh Returns

Ishani remains disappointed because Ansh has not arrived for Rakshabandhan. The family eventually decides that they cannot continue waiting for Prem and Rahi either.

Anupama remains hopeful that Prem may have understood his mistake and could still return. Soon after, Ansh makes a surprise entry.

Mahi immediately decides to tie a Rakhi to Ansh. Leela becomes annoyed with Mahi and scolds her for changing her stand despite staying at the Shah house.
