Anupama 13th August 2026 Written Update – How Will Prem and Anupama Handle the Pressure?
The 13th August 2026 episode begins with the organizer announcing that if the one who is supposed to obey the order does not follow it, points will be deducted from the team that gave the order. The teams say they have already paired up. Rahi says the organizers have decided everything. Leela wants her pair with Anupama, while Shruti worries that everything might get ruined.
The organizers form the pairs: Vasundhara and Leela, Anupama and Rahi, Prem and Digvijay, Kinjal and Shruti, Ishani and Mahi, and Prerna and Khyati. The coin will decide who gives the order and who follows it. Prem refuses to follow Digvijay’s order, while Rahi says she is ready to do anything for the team, and Anupama agrees she is ready too. Gautam tells Shruti her plan has backfired, but Shruti insists there is still fun left.
Paritosh and Pakhi get excited thinking the house is turning into a reality show and the camera might catch them as well, so they decide to get ready. Anupama grows restless thinking about the pairs and the task. She worries about the upcoming storm, knowing her team will have to fight their own family members during the task, and she prays to God to take care of everything.
The organizers begin the task and explain the rules. If Anupama and Rahi work as a team and Rahi orders Anupama, but Anupama does not follow the order, then Rahi’s team will not earn the point. Banku notes the rule is reversed and they will lose points. Meeta and Paritosh are relieved they are not part of the task. Hasmuk asks everyone to play the game and not turn the competition into a battlefield.
Paritosh and Pakhi are excited to watch Digvijay and Prem perform, and also look forward to Leela and Vasundhara. The coin task gets cancelled when Paritosh suggests that whoever gets the chance to order first should lead the task. Banku encourages Ishani, while Khyati and Kinjal discuss how tough the task is.
Anupama notices a broken frame, and Ansh tries to help her, asking her not to look for her future in old pictures. Anupama says she has a fate. Ishani asks Anupama to stay in the competition and not get emotional if she wins the chance to order Rahi. Ansh tells Ishani that Anupama is mature. Digvijay later asks Anupama if she understood what Ishani and Ansh were signalling. Anupama says Rahi and Prem will not follow their orders and worries about winning the task. Digvijay advises her to play with her mind and give Rahi an order she cannot refuse. Anupama understands Digvijay’s plan.
Meanwhile, Leela makes a plan not to follow Vasundhara’s order, deciding instead to give an order to Vasundhara. Vasundhara tells Meeta not to worry, as she will take care of Leela in the task. Shruti asks Prem not to lose points by playing with his ego. Prem asks Shruti to be gentle with Kinjal, as she is delicate and sweet, and to focus on her game.
The organizers are pleased that their cooking show has now become a reality show. Paritosh demands a hamper for giving the idea, and the organizers assure him. Shruti, knowing her turn comes first, decides to order Kinjal. When the buzzer rings, Shruti orders Kinjal not to help Anupama with the cooking, but Kinjal rejects the order. Prem and Rahi think Shruti is speaking without preparation. Shruti insists Kinjal has to follow, but Kinjal says Shruti needs to convince her first and refuses to follow the order, choosing to help Anupama instead. Prem’s team loses the task.
Gautam tells Shruti that they lost the first round and in the next rounds Rahi will make Anupama win. Shruti replies that Rahi loves Prem and will play for him. Prem regrets taking Shruti in his team, and Rahi consoles him. Prem asks Rahi to perform well and not follow Anupama’s order, and Rahi assures him. Leela and Vasundhara remain adamant about not following each other’s orders.

The voice-over says the upcoming task will either bring the families together or tear them apart further. Anupama sees Rahi’s dupatta burning and rushes to help her. Paritosh claims Anupama gave the order and made Rahi follow it too. Prem blames Rahi for making Anupama win and says she played with him, leaving Rahi and Anupama shocked by the accusation.
Our Take:
Anupama’s team is surely going to win. The makers can just wrap up this competition, as it has become a dragfest and an unnecessary clash between the Kotharis and the Shahs. The two families can fight without any competition too, as they are rivals. There is no need for this competitive tashan when they don’t see eye to eye. It is high time the competition track gets its conclusion, and Anupama and Prem should move on. Shruti needs to go back as soon as possible.
