The 2 September 2026 episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai brings relief to the Poddar family as Vidya’s medical report finally arrives and confirms that she is fine. Alongside Vidya’s health scare, Abhira and Armaan face fresh conflict with the Damanis over the Ras Leela competition, while Abhira continues to notice changes in Myra’s behaviour around Kabir.
The Poddars Wait for Vidya’s Report
The episode begins with Manisha distributing prasad among the Poddars. Armaan immediately asks Vidya about her report, but she says that it will arrive later and instead asks everyone about the puja.
Abhira tells Manisha about the celebrations. She also mentions meeting Tanya during the function, which makes Krish uncomfortable. After hearing about Tanya, he quietly walks away.
Vidya tries to keep everyone occupied and decides to bring water for the family. However, Armaan remains worried about the pending medical report.
Abhira and Armaan Resume Their Dance Practice
Myra asks Abhira and Armaan to change their clothes and practise for the upcoming Ras Leela competition. Both remain distracted by their personal worries.
Abhira is concerned that Sanjay and Kajal may react badly after learning about Tanya, while Armaan continues thinking about Vidya’s report. They initially decide not to practise.

Samar Accuses Abhira and Armaan
The situation changes when Abhira and Armaan learn that the Damanis have withdrawn their names from the Ras Leela competition. Samar blames the Poddars for burning the standee and says that they should not participate.
Nandani questions Samar’s decision and reminds him that the Poddars had given them the Lord Krishna idol. Samar, however, argues that the Poddars have also behaved wrongly.
Armaan strongly objects to the accusation and asks Samar to provide proof that he and Abhira were responsible for burning the standee. He points out that lights were present and several people were around when the incident happened.
Raghav also questions Nandani about demanding proof from Samar. Soon after, Abhira and Armaan receive another message regarding their re-registration for the competition.
Kabir Re-Registers Abhira and Armaan
Raghav later questions Kabir about why he re-registered Abhira and Armaan for the competition. Kabir explains that he wants Raghav and Nandani to defeat them in the Ras Leela competition.
Meanwhile, Myra speaks to Mukti and asks her to concentrate on her own sport instead of constantly worrying about Vidya. The family continues preparing for the competition while waiting for Vidya’s report.
Vidya’s Report Brings Good News
As night falls, Armaan becomes increasingly anxious about Vidya. Abhira understands his fear and says that waiting for a medical report is difficult for Vidya as well.

The Family Prepares for Maha Aarti
After the good news, Vidya asks Abhira to wear the saree that Armaan had given her for the puja. Kaveri also asks Abhira to offer ghee to Bal Gopal.
Vidya and Abhira convince Kaveri to join the Maha Aarti. Myra gets dressed for the occasion, and Kaveri, Vidya and Abhira compliment her appearance.
