Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 1 September 2026 Written Update: Abhira Suspects Myra Is Hiding Kabir
The 1 September 2026 episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai brings the Poddars and Damanis together for Janmashtami, while Abhira begins to suspect that Myra is hiding a relationship from her. At the same time, Samar blames Armaan after a standee catches fire, adding another point of tension between the two families.
Armaan Warns Abhira About the Damanis
The episode begins with Armaan warning Abhira that the Damanis could create trouble during the Janmashtami celebrations. He asks her to be careful, but Abhira remains confident that everyone is watching the situation closely and will not allow anything to go wrong.
Armaan makes it clear that he will not tolerate anyone trying to harm Abhira or create problems for the family. Myra also assures him that with so many guests present, the Damanis are unlikely to take any step that could spoil the celebration.
Nandani thanks Abhira for arranging the Lord Krishna idol and making the Janmashtami celebration possible. She asks Abhira to begin the festivities, after which Abhira starts singing a Krishna song.
Myra joins Abhira in singing. Nandani praises Myra for knowing the song and credits Abhira for giving her a good upbringing. Bhairavi also agrees with her.
The Poddars Join the Celebration Virtually
Armaan records a video of Abhira and Myra as the Poddars and Damanis come together for the festival. Back at the Poddar house, Kaveri prepares medicine for Vidya and talks about missing the family celebrations.
Madhav then shows Kaveri a video call from Armaan. When Kaveri sees the Lord Krishna idol through the call, she becomes emotional and offers her prayers.
The Damani family completes the puja, after which Myra meets Kabir. Kabir asks her to sing, and Myra proudly says that she is multi-talented. Kabir then comments on her hairstyle and opens her bun.
Nandani calls out to Kabir, while Armaan notices him addressing her as Nandu. Abhira tells them not to comment on other people’s personal lives. The Damanis then proceed with the launch of Rasbora’s new product.
Abhira Notices a Change in Myra
Armaan later looks for Myra and notices that her hair is open. When Abhira asks what happened, Myra says that her hair clip fell off and asks her mother to fix her hairstyle.
Abhira helps Myra with her hair, but she starts feeling that something about her daughter has changed. Manisha notices Abhira’s concern and tries to reassure her that Myra is still the same.
Abhira, however, remains doubtful. She begins to suspect that a boy may have entered Myra’s life. Armaan also becomes alert and keeps an eye out for anyone who may be following Myra, while Kabir offers Armaan a prasad.
Tanya Meets the Poddars
Later, Abhira, Armaan, Manoj, Manisha and Myra unexpectedly meet Tanya. Abhira introduces Tanya proudly, but Tanya avoids going to the Poddar house.
Abhira does not force her. She asks Tanya to give them some time so they can plan lunch together later.
Meanwhile, Samar notices Armaan with a standee and becomes suspicious. The situation worsens when the standee suddenly catches fire, leading Samar to believe that Armaan is responsible.
The incident adds another conflict between Samar and Armaan, while the reason behind the fire remains unclear.
Precap: Abhira Meets With an Accident
In the precap, Armaan asks Raghav to register his name first for the upcoming competition. Raghav tells him that Armaan can register before him, but the host points out that Armaan does not have a partner. Armaan waits for Abhira.
Meanwhile, Kabir appears to disturb Abhira while she is driving. Abhira wonders why Kabir is on the road, but before she can understand the situation, her car crashes into a tree.
The accident leaves Armaan and Myra worried about Abhira. The latest episode therefore ends with Abhira’s suspicion about Myra’s secret growing stronger, while the tension between Armaan and the Damanis continues ahead of the competition.
