Black Friday (2004)
Black Friday is the film based on the 1993 serial Mumbai bombings, starring Kay Kay Menon, Pavan Malhotra, Aditya Srivastava, Imtiaz Ali, Pratima Kazmi and Zakir Hussain. The story of the film tells about the after blast investigation stories by the various classes of people involved – police, conspirators, victims, middlemen. The film portrays the life of a terrorist after the blast and his ability to deal with all kind of pressures. The film is a definite take for a sequel as there were many stories left to unfold further. The sequel features Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Richa Chadda, Huma Qureshi, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkumar Rao and Zeishan Quadri. The film is a complete show of power, politics, and crime. Gangs of Wasseypur 1 (2012)
“Gangs of Wasseypur” is a cult movie and also the Bollywood’s answer to Hollywood. Now we can proudly say that we too have Scorsese and Tarantino. The film is full of superb performances by Manoj Bajpayee, Richa Chadda, Huma Qureshi, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is all about gang wars, crime, disgust, and vengeance that gets passed on from generation to generation and spans over seven decades with actions taking place in mining towns of Wasseypur and Dhanbad. Gulaal (2009)
Gulaal is a political drama and an Underrated Bollywood Film, starring Kay Kay Menon, Raj Singh Chaudhary, Abhimanyu Singh, Deepak Dobriyal, Ayesha Mohan, Jesse Randhawa, Piyush Mishra and Aditya Srivastava. The film is based on the topical theme of Rajasthani traditions and tells the story of a Rajput boy who loses his innocence in the grim world of politics and betrayal. The film is a gripping tale set around the members of the royal community who want to claim back their Rajputana state and royalty regime from the democratic government.
Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016)
Another film with dark characters, Raman Raghav is based on the infamous serial killer Sindhi Dalwai, it shows that character Raman Raghav (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) is very much inspired and turned himself a serial killer, He kills people without any motive. On the other side Vicky Kaushal playing a cop who is behind this serial killer.
The film has many dark scenes and twists which will blow your mind, This film is so depressing, don’t watch it if you are in some kind of depression.
Dev. D (2009)
Dev. D is an Indian black comedy romance drama and also the modern adaptation of Devdas. The film stars Abhay Deol, Mahie Gill, and Kalki Koechlin. The film is a complete blend of innovation as it has added the recent viral events of the country of that time – DPS girl’s leaked blow-job MMS and the drink and drive BMW mauling case held in the capital city. These events show the capability of the creative director and improve the sense of perception of the audience.
No Smoking (2007)
No Smoking is a psychological thriller film by the maverick genius of Bollywood. The film is based on the short story Quitters, by Stephen King. this film is much ahead of its time and not for the normal audience. The star cast of the film includes John Abraham, Ayesha Takia, Ranvir Shorey and Paresh Rawal. The story of the film depicts the very fact that every addiction has its core in the consciousness, the soul and one have to purify the soul in order to get rid of the addiction. The same is going with the antagonist, K played by John Abraham, who comprehends the right or wrong in all judgments in his life.
Ugly (2013)
Ugly is a Bollywood emotional thriller directed by Anurag Kashyap. The starcast of the film includes Rahul Bhat, Girish Kulkarni, Ronit Roy, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Surveen Chawla. The film was also screened in the Director’s Fortnight section at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. The story of the film is based on an aspiring actor and depicts a terrible tale of corruption, apathy and total violence when his ten-year-old daughter disappears.
Mukkabaaz (2018)
Mukkabaaz starring Vineet Kumar Singh and Jimmy Shergill as the main characters of the film. Shravan (Vineet Kumar Singh) is an aspiring boxer and Bhagwan Das Mishra (Jimmy Shergill) head of boxing federation. Shravan goes against Bhagwan das and also fell in love with her niece. Bhagwan Das wants to destroy his career, the film is all about how he confronts all the problems and fight against all odds.
Paanch (2003)
Paanch is a crime thriller film which was Banned by The Central Board of Film Certification due to extensive violence, the portrayal of drug abuse and foul language involved in it. The film stars Kay Kay Menon, Aditya Srivastava, Vijay Maurya, Joy Fernandes and Tejaswini Kolhapure. The story of the film revolves around four friends who plan a kidnapping which went wrong and eventually leads to an interesting end. The film showcases the fast-paced urban life full of ambition, immorality, insatiability and angst and its effect on an ordinary person.

That Girl In Yellow Boots (2010)
That Girl In Yellow Boots is a thriller film, featuring Kalki Koechlin and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles, coupled with Prashant Prakash, Gulshan Devaiya, Makarand Deshpande, Ronit Roy, Piyush Mishra and Rajat Kapoor. Return of Hanuman (2007)
