The movie Andaz Apna Apna is one of the best comedy movies you might have watched, and the movie receives great TRP even today when it showed on Television but the response movie got when released was not good at all.
There is no specific reason why the movie failed in the 1990’s, but the fact was people didn’t accept this comedy.
The rumors of making Andaz Apna Apna -2 are making the rounds, but I hope the second part can live up to the expectation and quality of humor 1990’s Andaz Apna Apna has given.

Rocket Singh: Salesman of the year (2009)
This great movie suffered failure because it was badly promoted. The lack of promotion and wrong promotion led to the failure of this great movie at the Box Office. Although Ranbir was highly acclaimed for his role in the movie.
Rocket Singh also lacked good music but none the less when the movie premiered at Television, it left the makes surprised and shocked as the movie was a great Hit at Small Screen.
They might have realized the error in their promotion strategies due to which they might have suffered the loss as well.

The reasons might be the remake of a huge Hit film after just 3 years, and except Amitabh, the lead actresses were Tamil.

It was like this movie was meant only for her. She performed amazingly but she left the world soon after the movie was released.
The movie was about a courtesan, A Tawaif who dreams of a better life. She falls in love with a stranger during a train journey. All she knows about that stranger is nothing and all that the stranger knows about her is her beautiful feet.
