Bollywood and Controversies go hand in hand, but sometimes these controversies get our celebs into Legal complications for one or other reasons. Here is a list of Bollywood celebs who stuck into Legal Controversies and few were even arrested.
Salman Khan:
In 2002, Salman Khan was arrested for rash driving, which also killed a person sleeping on pavement.
In 2002, Aishwarya accused Salman for harassing her after their break up. Aishwarya’s parents even lodged a complaint against Salman.
In 2006, Salman was sentenced for hunting Chinkara for one year. Salman was in Rajasthan to shoot of Hum Saath Saath Hain.
Sanjay Dutt:
In 1993, Sanjay Dutt was arrested for possession of arms during serial blasts in Mumbai 1993 but was granted bail, was re-arrested in 1995 and was again released on bail. In 2013, the final verdict of the Supreme Court, Sanjay Dutt was started to serve imprisonment of 5 years.
Shahrukh Khan:
In 2009 August, SRK was detained for 2 hours because he has a surname “KHAN” at Newark Airport. In April 2009, SRK was detained by New York Airport Immigration officials for 2 hours.
In 2012, MCA banned Shahrukh Khan for entering Wankhede Stadium for 5 years. MCA officials filed a Police complaint against SRK for using “Abusive Language in public”. SRK said, “I was bullied, I was angry, but I was not drunk.”, Apparently guards stopped SRK to go to the stadium ground, “I had gone to pick up my kids. (MCA Officials and Guards) were very aggressive.”
In 2013, Shahrukh and Gauri were accused over sex-determination of their surrogate child.
Ranbir Kapoor:
In 2004, Ranbir Kapoor was summoned by Udaipur Court for smoking in Public. A daily newspaper published images of Ranbir smoking, Ranbir was in Udaipur shooting for Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
Saif Ali Khan:
In 1998, Saif was accused of poaching 2 blackbucks, with Salman while in Rajasthan for shooting Hum Saath Saath Hain.
In 2008, Saif was accused in assaulting a photographer while shooting for Love Aaj Kal in Patiala.
In 2012, Saif allegedly assaulted Iqbal Sharma and an elderly man, for asking the manager of a restaurant to ask Saif to be a little quieter. Saif was arrested and was released on bail later.
Fardeen Khan:
In 2010, Fardeen was accused for possession of Cocaine by Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS)Act Court.
Madhur Bhandarkar:
In 2006 Madhur Bhandarkar was arrested for allegedly raping Preeti Jain, which was later dismissed by court as nothing was proved against Madhur.
Monica Bedi:
Monica Bedi was sentenced for 5 years in passport forgery case and was alleged to be girlfriend of underworld Don Abu Salem.
Rajesh Khanna:
In 2012, Lady love and live in partner Anita Advani sent a legal notice to claim right on Rajesh Khanna’s bungalow a day before Rajesh Khanna left this world.
Amitabh Bachchan:
In January 2013, Amitabh was accused of not paying tax for his earning for the year 2001-2002 by Apex Court of country and Income Tax Department.
Sushmita Sen:
In 2007, Sushmita Sen got into legal trouble for her statement over Pre Marital S*x. A notice was issued by Madras High Court.
Shiney Ahuja:
In 2009, Shiney was accused of raping her 20 year old Maid. Shiney was arrested and was released on bail later.
Sana Khan:
In 2013 Sana Khan, was accused of attempted abduction of a 15 year old girl who rejected her cousin’s marriage proposal. Sana went absconding after the family of girl filed police complaint and arrest warrants were issued.
Katrina Kaif:
In 2003, National Institute of Fashion Designing Nagpur accused Katrina for violating a modelling contract. NIFD Nagpur approached court for the same issue, and notices were issued to Katrina and 3 associates.
