Border is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language war drama film directed and produced by J. P. Dutta. The film is set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and follows a group of soldiers from the Indian army who are tasked with guarding a strategically important border post. The film stars an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Jackie Shroff, Sudesh Berry and Puneet Issar. The film stars Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in lead roles, and also features Vaani Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana and Dipannita Sharma in supporting roles.
The film is about an Indian soldier, Kabir, who goes rogue and becomes a threat to national security, and another soldier, Khalid, who is tasked with bringing him back. The film is known for its high-octane action sequences and the performances of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. War was a commercial success.
Sardar Udham
Sardar Udham is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language biographical film directed by Shoojit Sircar and written by Ritesh Shah. The film stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role of Sardar Udham Singh, who was a revolutionary Indian independence activist who assassinated Michael O’Dwyer, the former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab in British India, in 1940, in retaliation for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919.
The film also stars Banita Sandhu, and Gurmeet Choudhary in supporting roles. It was announced that the movie was set to release on 2nd October 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is one of the best Hindi Patriotic movies of recent times.

The Ghazi Attack
“The Ghazi Attack” is a 2017 Indian Telugu/Hindi-language war film directed by Sankalp Reddy, The film is based on the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistan Navy submarine, during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The film stars Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon, and Atul Kulkarni in lead roles.
The film is set in 1971 when the Indian Navy received intelligence about a Pakistan Navy submarine trying to infiltrate the Indian waters and the INS Vikrant, the Indian Navy aircraft carrier is sent out to neutralize the threat. The film was India’s first underwater war film and was well-received by the audience and critics alike.
LOC Kargil
“LOC Kargil” is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language war film directed, written, and produced by J. P. Dutta. The film is based on the Kargil War fought between India and Pakistan in 1999, and tells the story of the soldiers who fought in the war.
The film features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Sunil Shetty, Sanjay Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshaye Khanna, Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. The film was a commercial failure and was criticized for its length and lack of focus, it was an ambitious project but was not able to do justice to the real-life heroes, but it is still one of the most-watched Indian films on War.
Gumnami
Gumnami is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language biographical drama film directed by Srijit Mukherji. The film is based on the life of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, a prominent Indian independence activist and leader who, after his supposed death in a plane crash in 1945, was rumored to have been living incognito as a monk named “Gumnami Baba” in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
The film stars Bollywood actor Prosenjit Chatterjee as the titular character and also features Dipankar Dey, Anirban Bhattacharya, and Jisshu Sengupta in supporting roles. The film was only released in India and Bangladesh and it was well-received by critics for its storytelling and performances but was not a commercial success.

Commando 2: The Black Money Trail is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Deven Bhojani and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The film is the second installment in the Commando film series and is a sequel to the 2013 film “Commando: A One-Man Army”.
The film stars Vidyut Jammwal as the lead character, Karanveer Singh Dogra, a commando who is tasked with tracking down and apprehending a group of corrupt bankers who have laundered black money. The film also features Adah Sharma, Esha Gupta, and Freddy Daruwala in supporting roles. The movie was released in India on 3 March 2017 and was not well received by the critics and it was not a commercial success.
