In the past decade, we have seen a flood of franchise-centric movies produced by Marvel Entertainment based around the characters and story-lines from their all-time famous Marvel comics. Lately, Marvel Entertainment has been successful in recognizing the trend and the fandom around the superhero characters all over the globe.
While, Hollywood movies based around romantic or drama genre are only enjoyed by the North American audiences, the superhero-themed movies are loved all around the world because of the cult developed around these comic book characters over many decades.
Over the years, Marvel has been successful in bringing the comic book superheroes into the real world through dedicated live-action franchise movies based on popular characters such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, Iron Man, Captain America and many others. However, not every attempt is great and not every movie is loved or appreciated by the fans.
Yet, there is some good list of movies as below that are not only blockbusters at the Box Office, but also successfully revamped the whole Marvel Universe in the real world.
Best Live Action Marvel Movies of All Time
The Avengers
Well, most of us are enchanted by the superhero comics and often wish to have them in real life. However, the most enticing thing around superhero would be to see them all under one roof (i.e. film) and that’s what the 2012 superhero film The Avengers gifted us. With Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, all teamed up as The Avengers by Nick Fury against the evil force led by Loki, the film is surely something you can’t miss, if you are a comic book fan.
Iron Man
While the comic book cult is highly dominated by DC superheroes such as Batman and Superman, as well as Marvel’s own Spider-Man, the 2008 superhero film Iron Man changed it all. Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man was both appreciated and enjoyed by the audience to place Iron Man among these top 3 superhero characters of all time. The whole credit of the reboot and success of the Iron Man franchise must go to this first installment of the series.

2016 was a year that will be written in golden letters in the lives of every superhero fan. Well, we have already read and watched the clash between two superhero characters before in comic books or animated series; however, this was the first time to see two iconic superheroes from each Comic Book universe to fight against each other. Earlier this year, it was Batman v Superman, and now Captain America: Civil War that features the rivalry between Captain America and Iron Man. No matter, how much we like these superheroes and they’re teaming up together to fight against the evil; it is also a fact that the clash between two major superheroes is always fascinating. No doubt, Civil War is one of the best Movies based on Marvel Comics.
Deadpool
Well, it has been a lot of talk around superheroes. Hence, the next film on our list is about an anti-superhero Deadpool, a trash talking mercenary who later becomes a superhero with an anti-heroic persona. Marvel Entertainment decided to feature an independent film around their favorite anti-superhero character and released Deadpool in 2016. The film features the development and transformation of Wade Wilson as Deadpool after going through an experiment that gifts his superhuman strength and accelerated healing factor at the cost of disfigured face and body. The highlight of the movie is the humor quotient and the trash talking that is brilliantly portrayed by Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool in the film, helping the film gain popularity and a cult following.
