Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 9th September 2026 Written Update: Tanya Confirms Samar Marriage, Myra Misses Exam for Kabir
In the episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai aired on 9th September 2026, Tanya confirmed her decision to marry Samar Damani, while Myra’s growing attachment to Kabir led her to miss her entrance examination .
The episode began with Abhira and Arman confronting Tanya about her relationship with Samar. Abhira warned Tanya that Samar has anger issues and that she should reconsider her decision .
Tanya defended Samar, stating that their pain is the same. She was shocked to learn that Samar’s motive for the remarriage was to gain custody of his daughter, Barkha .
Bhairavi and Nandani advised Tanya to break all ties with the Poddars if she truly wanted to marry Samar. Meanwhile, the Poddar family learned of Tanya’s wedding plans, with Kajal objecting and Vidya supporting Tanya’s right to move on .

The precap for the next episode showed that Myra ultimately missed her entrance exam because she chose to meet Kabir. Kabir confronted her, asking why she came to see him on her exam day .
Arman tried to reassure Abhira, asking her not to worry about Myra and to trust that their daughter was growing up and taking on responsibilities .
