Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 22nd August 2026 Written Update: Will Madhav and Arman Patch Up?
The episode kicks off with Madhav attempting to make tea, but as always, his cooking skills leave much to be desired. Arman watches as Madhav drops ginger straight into the milk, and Abhira immediately senses disaster—the milk is bound to curdle. She moves to help, but Kaveri stops her, wanting to see how Arman reacts first.
When Madhav sees the curdled milk, he is disheartened and calls himself useless. But Arman surprises everyone. Instead of frustration, he expresses pride in his father, calling him his inspiration and hero. Madhav opens up about feeling guilty for not sharing his troubles about the fraudster with Arman. Arman reassures him, saying he understands Madhav didn’t want to burden him. The father-son duo finally patch up, leaving Kaveri, Vidya, and Abhira relieved and happy.
Abhira, hopeful, waits for Arman to surprise her with a bhajan clubbing plan. But Arman suggests a family break with their daughters instead. Disappointed, Abhira silently accepts that the romance between them might be fading.
Meanwhile, Myra tries to cheer up Mukti, who missed her perfume class. Mukti confesses that she feels anxious around new people and was waiting for Myra. She also admits she considered ditching Myra for Kabir, but Myra reassures her that she would never do the same.
The Bag With 2 Crore Rupees
Mukti tells Myra about the firefly festival and urges her to go, but Myra refuses. However, things take a turn when Kabir reveals that Myra accidentally took his bag, which contains his camera and a staggering 2 crore rupees. Panic sets in as Myra and Mukti realize the bag is still in the hall.
Arman finds the bag and camera, confronting Myra. Mukti quickly covers for her, claiming the camera belongs to her friend and she was buying it for Myra. Abhira watches the scene unfold, and Arman asks Mukti to return the camera to its owner.
Myra returns the camera to Kabir, and the two argue. Kabir then invites her to the firefly festival, but Myra refuses. Kabir, however, manipulates her, calling it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Myra is left confused and torn.
Arman Plans a Date for Abhira
On the other hand, Arman decides to take Abhira on a date. Abhira asks if he’s upset about the Damanis, but Arman brushes it off, saying he’s just relieved Myra isn’t in touch with Kabir. The couple decides to go bhajan clubbing.
When Myra and Mukti learn about Arman and Abhira’s plans, they wish them well. But Myra can’t shake off the firefly festival. Mukti, realizing Kabir is also going to the same festival, warns Myra to tell someone before leaving. Myra simply says Mukti knows and heads out.

Myra seems to be slowly drawn toward Kabir, whether she realizes it or not. Mukti is undoubtedly going to find herself in trouble because of Myra’s choices. The upcoming firefly festival meeting between Abhira, Arman, Myra, and Kabir promises plenty of drama. Will Arman discover the truth? Can Mukti save Myra once again? And will Abhira finally catch onto Myra and Mukti’s lies? The stage is set for some intense twists!
